Chargers Settle for Draw After Late Equalizer by Mount Saint Vincent

The Crandall Chargers played to a 2–2 draw with Mount Saint Vincent on October 5th at Mainland Common, after surrendering two second-half goals following a strong finish to the opening half.

Crandall struck late in the first half to take control of the match. Ethan Cowan opened the scoring in the 40th minute with an unassisted finish, and Manil Alaouche doubled the lead just two minutes later, also scoring unassisted to give the Chargers a 2–0 advantage at halftime.

Mount Saint Vincent responded after the break, cutting the deficit in the 62nd minute through Cole Hutchison-Mills. The visitors continued to press and found the equalizer in the 81st minute, as Cooper McVicar-Smith scored to level the match at 2–2.

Goalkeeper Tim Leaman delivered a standout performance for Crandall, making 14 saves while facing 16 shots on goal, repeatedly keeping the Chargers in front during extended periods of pressure. Mount Saint Vincent's keeper Tristan Brocklehurst also made six saves in the draw.

Crandall generated eight shots, with Cowan, Alaouche, and Chandler Breau each registering shots on target. Defensively, the Chargers battled through sustained second-half pressure to earn the road point.

Despite conceding late, Crandall showed quality and composure early, and the result reflected a hard-fought contest between two evenly matched sides.

The Chargers will look to build on their first-half performance as they prepare for their next match.
