Chargers Control Home Court on Senior Night Against Mount Allison
The Crandall Chargers capped off Senior Night in style Friday afternoon, defeating Mount Allison 88–72 at Crandall University.
Prior to tipoff, the Chargers honored seniors Luca Del Bosco, Colby McIntosh, and Ethan Culberson, recognizing their contributions to the program before delivering a complete performance on the court.
The night got off to an electric start, as Ethan Culberson banked a pass off the backboard to Charles McKenna for a thunderous alley-oop, igniting the Chargers crowd and setting the tone early.
Fast Start Fuels Chargers
Crandall rode that early energy throughout the opening quarter, holding Mount Allison to just six points while building a 20–6 lead after one. The Chargers continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, matching Mount Allison's scoring while maintaining control to take a 42–28 advantage into halftime.
Ball movement and defensive activity defined the first half, as Crandall capitalized on turnovers and limited Mount Allison's offensive rhythm.
Chargers Maintain Control
Mount Allison found more success offensively in the third quarter, but Crandall answered each push, extending the lead with timely shooting and strong rebounding. The Chargers closed the game in the fourth, shooting efficiently and controlling the pace to secure the Senior Night victory.
Senior Leadership and Balanced Effort
Senior Luca Del Bosco led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while fellow senior Colby McIntosh added 20 points and four assists. Ethan Culberson chipped in 10 points and four assists, contributing on both ends in his final home game.
Jayden Johnson provided a spark off the bench with 13 points, and Caleb Rennie finished with 10 points and six assists as Crandall totaled 29 assists on 35 made field goals.
Crandall shot 49.3 percent from the field, held a 39–37 rebounding edge, and forced 11 turnovers while committing just seven, turning defense into consistent offense throughout the night.
