The Crandall University Chargers announce the signing of Kevin-Uyanze Lupetu, a 6’2” point guard from Longueuil, Quebec. Lupetu brings strong playmaking ability and a high basketball IQ to the Chargers’ backcourt. Known for his ability to control tempo and create for teammates, he is expected to make an immediate impact. His size and athleticism at the point guard position also allow him to affect the game on the defensive end.
The Chargers are excited about adding Lupetu to the program, for his competitiveness and fit within the team’s culture. Off the court, he is enrolled in the Kinesiology program. Lupetu says his decision to join the Chargers is rooted in the program’s identity and environment. “I chose Crandall because I love the culture, what they stand for, and the brotherhood,” he says. He adds that he looks forward to building chemistry with teammates and coaching staff while rediscovering his love for the game.
