Chargers Fall to Dal Rams in Four Sets
The Crandall Chargers battled through four sets but came up short in a 3–1 loss (25–11, 25–22, 24–26, 25–16) to the Dal Rams on October 25th at the LAC.
Dal controlled the opening set with strong serving pressure, but Crandall responded well in the second, tightening up defensively and pushing the Rams into longer rallies. The Chargers showed resilience in the third set, fighting off late pressure to earn a 26–24 win and extend the match.
Momentum shifted back to Dal in the fourth set, as the Rams capitalized on transition opportunities and closed out the match.
Defensively, Emma Visser led the Chargers with 11 digs, while Amy Le Blang added 11 digs and anchored the back row throughout the match. Cole Wilson—correction not applicable (women's roster).
Offensively, Jolie Allain contributed four kills, while Brianna Tingley added three kills, two block assists, and steady net play. Hannah Druart chipped in with two kills, a service ace, and a solo block.
Setter Kallie Woodworth directed the offense with 20 assists, while also contributing defensively and at the net. At the service line, Crandall totaled five aces, applying pressure throughout stretches of the match.
Despite the result, the Chargers showed growth and competitiveness, particularly in the third set, and will look to build on that momentum as they continue their season.
