Faye brings a lifelong connection to higher education, with the majority of her career rooted in academic and athletic environments. Her journey spans both student and professional roles across several institutions, giving her a deep, well-rounded understanding of campus life and administration.
She began her academic path at Atlantic Baptist College, where she was also a member of the women’s volleyball and badminton teams. After time away from formal studies, she returned to university and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management at Crandall University. Faye’s career includes administrative experience at Dalhousie University and Mount Allison University, working within faculties such as Law, Business, History, Canadian Studies, and Women & Gender Studies. She has also held several leadership positions within athletics, returning to Crandall Athletics in 2020 and later being promoted to Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation.
Outside of her professional life, Faye has a lifelong passion for equestrian sport. She has owned and shown Arabian and Morgan horses throughout the Maritimes and currently enjoys time with her Arabian horse. She is also an active sports enthusiast, with interests that include squash, badminton, and pickleball.
